Electric Moon at Plant Riverside District “Mix It Up at the Moon” Mixology Classes Featuring Maker's Mark

Plant Riverside District's Electric Moon Skytop Lounge offers monthly interactive mixology classes as part of the Mix It Up at the Moon series. Featuring master mixologists and brand ambassadors from around the globe, Mix It Up at the Moon showcases a rotating series of experts throughout the year. At each event, guests learn how to make two signature cocktails and signature dishes from Electric Moon's culinary team.

Maker's Mark is a small-batch bourbon whiskey produced in Loretto, Kentucky, by Beam Suntory. It is bottled at 90 U.S. proof (45% alcohol by volume) and sold in squarish bottles sealed with red wax. Maker's Mark never did age their whisky for over 10 years, not because they didn't believe in it but because they hadn't found their way of doing it. Maker’s Mark® Cellar Aged defines an older whisky distinctly Maker’s. By embracing both the unique impact their warehouse and cellar maturation have on flavor, they have created an older expression that is richer and more complex while staying true to the founder's taste vision of bourbon without the bite.
