Mix It Up at the Moon - Wicked Weed Beer and Second City Spirits

Plant Riverside District's Electric Moon Skytop Lounge offers monthly interactive mixology classes as part of the Mix It Up at the Moon series. Featuring master mixologists and brand ambassadors from around the globe, Mix It Up at the Moon showcases a rotating series of experts throughout the year. At each event, guests learn how to make two signature cocktails as well as signature dishes from the culinary team at Electric Moon.

The April Mix It Up at the Moon class will offer the opportunity to mix cocktails crafted with Asheville, N.C.’s own Wicked Weed beer and Augusta, Ga.'s Second City Distillery whiskey and bourbon. This special mixology class will be co-hosted by Wicked Weed Brand Ambassadors Anthony Scarpitti and Jen Currier as well as Second City’s in-house mixologist Josie Swanson.  

Wicked Weed is known for pushing the craft beer envelope, offering 25 unique draft beers including West Coast-style IPAs, barrel-aged sour ales and more. Second City, which is the first and only distillery in Augusta, Ga., is reclaiming the culture of small-scale distilling as a craft, returning to the use of quality corn and fresh, local ingredients.
