The Day of the Jubilee: Reflections of Faith, Fortitude, & Freedom with Master Storyteller Lillian Grant-Baptiste

Juneteenth (or the Day of the Jubilee) is a powerful holiday that commemorates the end of slavery in the United States. Join us as Ritual Celebrant and Master Storyteller Lillian Grant-Baptiste leads an exuberant, spirited, joyful, and at times, deeply reflective commemorative celebration. Hear the powerful stories of freedom and liberation specific to Savannah. This event will be held in District Live at Plant Riverside District beginning at 5:30pm. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting one hour prior to the program.
